Common questions, answered.

Everything you want to know about the Nexaro PureFlow™ Shower Filter.

The Product

What does the Nexaro PureFlow actually do?
The PureFlow is an inline shower filter that attaches between your wall pipe and your existing showerhead. It's designed to reduce chlorine, heavy metals, hard minerals, and sediment from your shower water — before the water reaches your skin.
Will it work with my showerhead?
Yes. The PureFlow uses a standard 1/2" NPT connection — the threading used on virtually every residential shower in North America. It works with fixed showerheads, handheld showerheads, and rain showerheads.
Will it affect my water pressure?
The PureFlow is designed to maintain your existing water pressure. Under normal home water pressure, you should notice no meaningful difference in flow.
How long does each filter last?
Each filter is designed for approximately 6 months of daily use for a single person. Households with more frequent use may want to replace it closer to the 4-month mark.

Installation

How do I install it?
1. Unscrew your current showerhead. 2. Thread the PureFlow onto the wall pipe. 3. Reattach your showerhead to the other end of the filter. That's it — no tools required, under 2 minutes for most people.
Do I need a plumber or any tools?
No. If you've ever changed a showerhead, this is the same process. No drilling, no modifications to plumbing, no special tools required.
Does it change how my shower looks?
The PureFlow sits inline between the wall pipe and your showerhead. It's compact and largely hidden from view — most people can't tell it's there.

What's the difference between the 1-Pack and 2-Pack?
The 1-Pack ($39.99) includes one filter — about 6 months of coverage. The 2-Pack ($59.99) includes two filters — a full year of coverage at a lower per-filter cost. We recommend the 2-Pack so you always have a replacement on hand.
